So, I just bought a new blowdryer with a diffuser attachment, and it doesn't have any instructions for how to use it exactly. It's a Conair Infiniti, and it was the most expensive one they had, so I'm sure it's good. But, I don't know how long I should use it, how often to use it, any specific techniques in using it, etc. Also, should I use gel or mousse before using it, to make my curls more distinguishable? I have pretty long thick hair, and I usually go for the straight look, but I go curly when I don't have the time to fix it. I would usually just mousse my hair and go. But I know that a diffuser will make my hair look much better when curly, so the curls actually stand out, instead of fuzz out. Also, do you think that by my doing this, it will prevent my hair from going frizzy in humid weather, like Hawaii or any beach weather? Please give me some instructions, tips and hints for how to get the most out of my new diffuser.I'd really appreciate the hair help!

I read an article that suggests adding baking soda to hot water for a foot soak. I tried it and thought it felt nice (and fizzy at first), but I wonder what makes baking soda a good additive for skin. Might it have softened the water? What happened there? :- )

Thanks. (And give it a try!)
