I want to know what everyone thinks of the price, and how good it works, and how many of you break out and do you think there's anything better?

I am a Mary Kay consultant and I would never hound you. I let my customers come to me when they are ready. A lot of the ladies negative comments come from what Mary Kay used to be. The pink styles are now cute.. they are mostly black with pink outlining. Everything is up to date and we are always coming out with new up to date products.
If all the negative comments were true.. why would we be the #1 selling brand in America.. and be big in 34 other countries?

You may break out at first but like someone else said, its because you are using a new good product.. after a week or 2 that will go awaya nd so will the rest of ur skin care problems.

Give us a chance. We have a 100% Moneyback guarantee if you dont like what u see.

My girlfriend used to sell it and doesn't anymore and just gave me a ton of it. I love it!!!!! The lipsticks are very creamy and true to color and stay well. The bronzing beads are great, I don't like foundation and being a fair skinned black woman this gives me some color without being heavy and keeps the shine away. The eye shadows are great, very soft in texture and wear well, they have the best applicators around. The eyeliners are not the best I still use my Cover girl liner. The moisturizer & lotions are wonderful. I have the Timewise body lotion and thought that it wasn't going to be that good and I love it!!!!! The blushes are true to color and I have to be light handed with them but all in all I love the products...Oh yeah and the Satin Hands is the best for rough dry hands and Satin Lips brought my lips back from being like sand paper to kissable again...

I know it is pricey so if you have to get something go for the custom compact. That way you can buy a face full without buying a lot. They also have a full color pallet that is $38 that has everything.

I haven't had any break outs but I do wash my face twice a day and use the Timewise moisturizer as well.

I believe that Mary Kay has the best eye makeup remover on the market. I like the eyeshadows and the powder foundation does not feel heavy when applied. I do not care that much for the nail polish colors and for some reason I am never able to get a smooth coat. The nail polish also chips.

I am a Mary Kay Consultant. When I started to use the product, it cleared my face up perfectly! Our product is #1 on the market! It is so rewarding, I'm sorry to hear some bad reports from some of you!

It is a little pricey, but the products are really good. There are several different formulas made for different skin types. Is there anything better? Everyone's skin is different so everyone is going to have a different opinion. It all comes down to trial and error. Keep trying different products until you find the one that works for you.

There are a LOT of things better! Overall, Mary Kay is seriously mediocre and unexciting. It's skin care formulations are very dated, and the makeup colors are not particularly up-to-date or exciting either. You can find better options at Wal-Mart (L'Oreal, Revlon & Almay come to mind).

Plus, Mary Kay ladies make me crazy (especially on here), and the packaging and everything is so old-ladyish I wouldn't admit to using it even if I did.

compared to prices in the department stores, less. about the same as large brand names in discount stores. the product is 100% guaranteed. some times people break out because they're starting a good skin care routine, when i first started i broke out because of that, but less then 2 weeks later it was gone, along with my white heads, black heads and pimples. i love how it makes my skin feel!

It breaks me out bad! I use Bare Minerals and I never have break-outs anymore. This is after fighting it for 20 years or more.

Hate their pink scheme!! Their products are OK, but not worth finding a representative... Just easier to shop on my own..

I hate the fact that they have to come to your house to give you a consultation and for this reason i dont use them.... then you have the beautician calling you all the time and annoying the hell out of you... I buy when i ready and i buy what i want....
