Beauty & Style - 2 September 2006

I have always had hand me downs and most are ugly, not my style, and kiddy-ish but now that I'm starting to make money, I want clothes that are more fashionable, sophistocated, but still cute and prep. I am long and lean (5'5 and about 100 lbs.) and need clothes (and shoes-size 8) that fit me. I also prefer a bargain. (I live an hour away from the Seattle area). Any suggestions of where I should start looking??

Guys don't like knowing a omwen is wearing makeup. Men do like women who are atractive. If a man sees a women who is atracctive and can't tell she is wearing makeup, he will think seh is even hotter. This is the catch though, Because men don't like makeup does not mean that a women should not wear makeup. Makeup can help you look better. the truth is though, you are lying to the guy. guys do not think to thmelselves, wow, that shade of eyeshadow really looks sexy on you. They think, wow, that girl IS sexy. We don't want to think that a girl is cute because she has makeup on. We very well may think a girl is cute that happens to be wearing makeup. It might even be because of the makeup. But don't care about the makeup itself. We are just fooled into thinking that is how the girl looks normally.


This is a subtle difference, you might have to think about this and read it slowly to get it.

Bottom line, wear makeup to cover flaws, but not for much else.

Is the Preppy look more popular than the ghetto look?? Yeah you know like Preps shop at AE, Abercrombie, and Hollister, and ghettos people shop at Urban Ourfitters and Men Alive. I have a ton of blackheads in my nose. I just got some Stridex pads. Also I have a Some pimples but not a ton. Does Stridex pads work, & for my pimples what would help???
