The actual needle going through hurts, but it only lasts a few seconds. Once the needle is through it'll be fine and wont hurt. The healing is painless and fast. I have 2 that i did myself and i love them.

If you getting a "septum" type piercing, that can hurt. Only because it travels through cartilage.
Ones in the nostril part of nose, those don't hurt, but do leave a scar, sometimes when removed.

It feels like a pinch and your eyes will water a little because of you olfactory nerves in that area. I fyou are going to get it don make sure you pick out jewelry you like b/c it has to stay in until it heals conletely. Sometimes up to 8 wks. Also make sure to go to a reputable tattoo shop and remember you get what you pay for.Good luck I have my eyebrwo, nose, monroe, labret, nipples and bellybutton pierced. Also have 5/16 guages in my ears. :0)

It didnt me..but every one else that i've talked to that had theirs done..i guess it hurt like hell..It ALL depends on how you do it..Like i did it myself..mine didnt hurt at all..but all of the other people I know went prof. BUT i dont encourage doing it yourself..unless you REALLY know what your doin..and if you have a hollow needle..other wise theres WAY to much room for infection..and...and infected nose..can lead to SOO many more problems....trust me...

Nose piercing. I don't get why people would do that. What do you think? There's a needle going inside your nose. If you thought ear piercing hurt damn you'll think nose piercing is living hell.!!!!

My friend had that and she says yes it hurts a lot. She didn't even stand it and took it off.
