Beauty & Style - 1 September 2006

I have a lot of hair (thick not long) how can I make it softer and more manageable. It was permed a while back and it is not as soft as it was. PLZ HELP!!!

I have had it pierced now for 2 months. When I first got it up to about a week ago it took up all of the space no the barbell. Now I can see some of the bar bell. It was infected once but now thats cleared up. It's a little bit red and not sore at all. I clean it withsea salts. Could it be rejecting it completely? Or did it maybe just move to the spot it wants it to be?

Alright, I have really long hair and I think the hair products I use are making it heavier than what it needs to be. I use Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner (have to use conditioner or else it would be difficult to brush) and then I put on heat protecting spray (sorry, not for sure the name) to protect my hair from the blow dryer.

So, what should I do? Because my hair looks greasy if I don't wash it everyday and blowdry it. The shampoo I use is for greasy hair but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks for the help!

Oh, and if it helps my hair is thick, long, and dark brown.

I have long, loose spiral curls. I need a product that will keep the curls smooth looking(not greasy) and keep my hair from looking "big" and frizzy....I would like to be able to wear my hair down more but it gets too bushy.....any suggestions????

I've read so many questions and answers on Yahoo about using Henna as a hair dye but I am still confused. Have more questions:

1. I have black hair and want to try using Henna to cover my grey. It seems that Henna black is harmful to use. If true, what is a safe way to use Henna to cover grey hair and turn it black again?

2. I used other hair coloring product on my hair before, if I use Henna now would it bring unpredictable/harmful result?

3. Is there any ready to use Henna dye that I can buy without having to mix the powder myself? It seems quite complicated to do.

4. Is there any hair salon that specializes in Henna hair coloring in the SF Bay Area?
