How do you paint polka dots on your nails using nail polish, without it looking bad?

I would put on the base, let it dry, then use a toothpick to make the polka dots. Don't put on so much on the toothpick that it will drip, but enough to make a mark.

hey the way i did it was to make sure that I had has a little nail polish has i can on the brush and just dot it on my nail. it seems to work

Use the nail brush then just lightly dot your nail with the tips of the brush. Thats way I do polka dots and it looks good.

i think a toothpick would work best if the nail polish is thick enough.
its what i use when i paint small dots.

i would wait until the nail polish dries, get a toothpick, dip it in the favoured nail polish, and gently dot the nail

let the top layer dry 1st then get an extra small brush and paint the polka dots

I did something wierd but it worked i diped a toothpick into my nail polish then onto my nails....
