No, but be careful of preacher hair. Preacher hair is when you spray your hair with hairspray and the put the scarf on wait to dry and then lightly peal the scarf away. It gives your hairstyle such a perfect fake look like you would see on Jack VanImpe or Jerry Fallwell.

Not unless you are putting it on and taking it off very quickly and often, in which case you may mess up your hair. Otherwise, your style should actually keep its place even better than without a scarf on (it is semi-protected from wind and such).
