I have long, loose spiral curls. I need a product that will keep the curls smooth looking(not greasy) and keep my hair from looking "big" and frizzy....I would like to be able to wear my hair down more but it gets too bushy.....any suggestions????

I am a black person with kinky hair and this stuff works for me, so it's GOTTA work for you. lol

It's called "L'Oreal Nature's Therape Natural Curls Defining Creme". It's $8 at a dollar an ounce (ouch! expensive!) but it WORKS. It's very worth it. And I remind you again, my hair is a cross between curly and kinky. Hear me out! :)

Oh yeah, and one more thing...after you're done washing your hair and conditioning it, rinse it with a shot of COLD water. I know it'll be a shock, but it seals the cuticle at the root and smooths it and keeps frizz at bay. Pat it dry, damp might even work for you (practice and see), don't comb it out (I'm sure you know this already) and put the L'Oreal in your hair. I hope it helps!

P.S. You can only get this stuff at Sally's. That's probably why it's so expensive.

There is a leave in conditioner by a brand called Zerran. IT works great, and you can get it at any beauty supply store. It has special hair keratin protein in it, so it reall y helps your hair look its best. You can also try rubbing a sheet of fabric softner in your hair to keep the frizz down.
