My seven year old has alopecia and when she gets stressed or sick has bouts of hair loss. Her form of alopecia is alopecia areata so she has hair loss in patches. School is getting ready to start here and she is nervous...can I take her to a salon and get a protein treatment to strengthen her hair? Any suggestions on products that will strengthen her hair? Thanks for your suggestions.

My hair is really wavy and poofy from wearing it up all the time...I naturaly have straight hair. I started using a straightener and I love it. Except a straightener can damage your hair. Is there any home-maid remedies that anyone knows of that could protect my hair from being burned when I straighten it? See a pic of me by going on my URL.

Hi, my hair is strait, but it's frizzy and puffy...What product helps and how do I make my hair healthy and pretty hot!? I mean Ive been to salons and my hairdresser made my hair like a celebs, strait,volumized and not frizzy OR puffy in a snap...But I can't go there every day!!?? please help

My hair is light brown with auburn highlights. It has a slight wave to it. I have fringe type bangs right now and it is in the process of growing out layers, the shortest is chin length and the longest is 1.5-2 inches below my shoulder line.
