I live in Canada and am looking to purchase a flat iron. I want a good one that gets up around 400 F. Can you recommend a Brand name and if you know where I can get one for a better price? P.S. I'm interested in solid ceramic with tourmaline.

CHI flat irons by Farouk are the best flat irons you can buy. They have solid ceremic plates and a ceremic heating element, this allows the flat iron to conduct heat much more effectivly. It also allows your hair to lock the moisture in, instead of stripping it all out. Try looking on Ebay for NEW Chi Flat Irons. You can get them at way below retail and most items are guarenteed through Ebay!

The Paul Mitchell Flat Iron is amazing. It heats up to about 430 I think... check eBay for the best deal...

Also, CHI FlatIrons are pretty good too from what I have heard

Good Luck :)

The new infiniti flat iron from conair. You can get it at walmart. Including tax, it would be about $50. Pepole say it works great, and it has a 5 year warranty, so if it breaks, just put it back in it's orginal box and take it back to walmart and they will give u a new one free.
