its a fact of life alot of kids if not most pee their beds. if your worried about cleaning it up try rubber sheets. eventually he'll grow out of it. until then make sure he uses the bathroom right before he goes to sleep.

This is a remedy well known in Asia .. don't laugh and NO .. I'm definitely not joking or pulling your leg. Its up to you to try this and you may need to do this only once or the most three times. (not everyday please).
Remedy: Get your husband or a strong person, to lift your child and hang him upside down for about 5-10 seconds only. Hold the child by the ankle and lift slowly and carefully ... after 10 seconds, set the child back down slowly, too. Pretend you're playing games ....
This is a well known 'old grandmother's remedies' in Asia .. no harm trying cause you're not gonna hurt the child. It worked for both my kids but after doing this 3 times though ....

it often takes boys a lot longer to get the hang of this. I'd just try all the preventiv measures until he's ready. I'd also have him take off his wet pjs himself in the morning(not in a mean way though) just to understand that there is an unpleasant part of bed wetting that won't only effect mom.

Try waking him up for a trip to the bathroom at the same time every night. Maybe this will help.It may get to be a routine with him after awhile.

make sure you don't allow yr child to drink at least 1 hr before bed. also make yr child go toilet if possible before bedtime. this will take time to make it a good habit so don't think its going to happen fast. encourage yr child to do this with a good attitude and praise when yr child does go before bed. sometimes if the child still does wet with trying this method. you might have to get in the habit of waking them up once during the night to go toilet. i know it sounds bad but i have been through this and it has worked for me. remember it will take time

My doctor told me to wake my son up every 4 hours to go to the bathroom. Try that to see if it works. He may just need some time.
