I am planning on going on a cruise in January. There will be one formal dinner and I am wanting to wear a very nice dress. My mother was married in a "homecoming" dress (It was bought from JcPenneys during Homecoming season).

For the cruise, I am wanting to alter it.
I want to:
1. Cut off 10-12 inches to make it a "knee" length gown.
2. Add more lining to make it "pouff" out a little more (for dancing).
3. Add a little lining to the bottom of the skirt on the outside, kind of like a trim (hard to explain)
4. Bring it in about 4-5 inches (my mom is bigger than me)
5. Re-do the straps and the neckline. (Make a sweetheart neckline and slim the straps down).

I'm new at this kind of stuff and I am wanting to know round-abouts how much this will cost me and how long it would take.

If you have any idea, please let me know.

I can only use certain products because some break me out more. I'm almost a teenager, but I don't think it's teen acne. I've had acne since I was about 8. I want to clear before school starts, which is in a week. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

ok, I have naturally Dark brown hair, I tried dying it a lighter brown using Clairol 106 Natural Medium ash blonde, it came out light brown and I left it for a couple of months, I then really wanted to go blonde so i used Clairol 103 Natural Light Neutral blonde, I didn't use bleach before hand,and I liked the colour, the only part I didn't like was it only dyed my roots and the rest was the same light brown colour. I didn't want this so i dyed it dark brown. I still want to go blonde but I'm not sure how to, I have very oily hair (i wash it everyday and it still is oily towards the end of my 24hr cycle) so it drying up doesn't bother me. I have read some other people's answers and i think due to Living in Australia I have never heard of Sallys or Manic panic. Please help!

I have hazel eyes, but I also wear glasses. What colors of eyeshadow and/or eyeliner can I use to bring them out behind my glasses. My glasses are dark brown, almost black if that helps.

Please, Please only answer if you are a hair professional of some kind.

When you straighten your hair, should you take a shower in the morning, blow dry it straight, then use a flat iron OR should you take a shower the night before, let it dry while you sleep, then flatiron it in the morning?

Also, how often can you use a flatiron without damaging your hair?
