Beauty & Style - 28 July 2006

My hair is about to my shoulders. It is really thick in the back and frizzes from the humidity of Southern Georgia. Any suggestions on good ways to manage and style for first day of school? And no stupid stuff. ONLY answer if you have african american/biracial hair or knows how to deal with my kind of hair.

I have been shopping for my daughter for school clothes. She is 7 1/2. Why do they make clothes so short? Don't they realize these are young children? They need to wear things that are modest. You can still wear things that are stylish and fit and look good. UGH! Wake up stores..

It sounds a little odd, but I felt like asking. I'm 14 and I'm a 36B. But I want them to be a little bigger. But they just don't seem to grow at all. And it doesn't seem like they've grown at all this yr. And if they don't grow anymore, I don't know if I should just be happy with them, or get something done to make them a little bigger.

For the past 2 or 3 weeks, the skin on the palm of my hands and fingers, have been peeling. It's all over the palm and fingers, but just in 'patches' or areas, does anyone know what could be causing this? An allergic reaction? Or just this hot, humid weather? What could I use for it? I have been told that there may be some kind of facial lotion or makeup, that would improve my chances of finding a wholesome dancing partner. One that I would not be ashamed to take home to meet mom and dad.

Do you think that eye shadow would be helpful, too?
