they shouldn't burn.. maybe your hands are dirty, or your have them in backwards, or they could be dry but if they're dry they shouldn't necessarily burn..just irritate u, or maybe you have dirt on the contact itself... if none of this helps go back to the eye doctor

It is not normal for your eyes to burn. If you have never worn contacts before get in touch with a doctor. It is very serious, if you don`t have the proper contacts you could injure your retina.

My eyes never burned. The 1st time I put them in they were a little uncomfortable, like I could feel like something was there. But that feeling lasted on ly 5-10 minutes. If you already have them & they are burning you should call the doctor & see what they can suggest. Oh & I don't suggest sleeping in them. It can be very uncomfortable when you wake up & it's not good to deny your eyes of getting oxygen all the time. I wear Acuvue Oasys & they are very comfortable.

Your eyes should not really burn at all. That may be an indication that you are not inserting them correctly. Try using more solution9 one for sensitive skin eyes) then reinsert them. If the burning continues then contact your eye care specialist, they can do a further exam if they feel it is needed. Good luck! Contacts are not supposed to burn.

I just got comtacts a couple weeks ago. Mine didn't really burn when I got them (well my eye was really irritated cuz I couldn't get them in... in fact, it took me about 50 tries... yeah pathetic, I know). My eyes only burn when I put in my contacts when my eyes are tired or when I just had my contacts in and didn't have time to let my eyes get a lot of oxygen. And it hurts when you have something stuck in them of course. Basically if you learn how to put them in quick and right (yeah, practice), your eyes shouldn't really burn.

Your contact lens should not burn your eyes. If you have this prickly feeling in your eyes after you put your contacts on, it is probably because the lens are dirty. Just take them off and wash it thoroughly.

A few minutes. If you're new to contacts, it is recommended you wear them the first time only for a couple of hours. Then, increase the amount of time by 2 hours each day until you can adjust to wearing them all day.

it shouldn't burn at all except maybe for a few seconds and that is all. If you've had them for any length of time, take them out and go see your eye doctor.

My eyes bugged me for a couple of days before I got completely used to wearing them. Unless it is unbearable, I would give it a couple of days and then call your eye doctor if they still hurt.

they shouldn't burn at all - either something is on the lens or you're allergic/sensitive to the lens or the solution. You need to see your dr asap. And take the lenses out!
