How can I soften hard shoe leather?

I bought a pair of sandals that after just half an hour of wear, had literally worn a ridge into the top of my foot and they were starting to bleed. I'm not sure I can return the shoes, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how I can soften the leather so I can wear them. Thanks!

I go to a lot of music festivals over the summer, my hair has alway been long so just stick it in pigtails?

and it looks grand, but Im gettin my hair choped to a short bob and wont be able to pu it up. Any hair ideas? Or anyone know of a good pair of cordless straighteners? Is there such a thing as cordless hairdryer. thanks

going on holls in 4 days is it worth the risk of the chlorine in pools water turning it green if i redye it?

My hair is naturally brown but dyed brown and i want to re dye it close enough t the same colour before i go away in 4 days time.I know that it may turn green if its exposed to chlorine and sunlight but i thought that only happens with blond hair?If i use protectant gell or spray on my hair before i swim it may be okay..
Is it worth the risk of it turning green!!??And if it does can i dye over my haitr to turn it back to normall?

How long can you keep make up?

Where is the best place to get tightiesh jeans?

I have trouble finding nice jeans, primarily because I have a big butt. I feel like nothing looks nice, evey thing is either to tight or to loose. I like the type that are tight but not the type or tight that makes your sides come out, or the type that makes people wonder how you can breathe. I like the type like Nelly Furtado is wearing in "Promiscuous". Anywhere you know?

Where online to get free makeup samples?

Does anyone know a good site online to get free makeup or beauty products or samples? I love trying new stuff but beauty products cost a fortune! I always end up buying stuff and then it just sits around in my bathroom drawers if I don't like it.

PS. I have gotten samples from DuWop before, they have great products and they're more than happy to send samples for you try their products. You can find them online.

I am thinking of having my hair stripped. I have had dyed blonde hair for about 10 years but want to go....?

back to my natural colour which is a really lovely golden brown. I have no clue about hair stripping, will it damage my hair? How long will it take to get back to my natural colour and condition (shiny+healthy)? Am I better just getting it dyed a light brown colour and letting it grow back naturally? Anyone know a decent website that explains the process?
