What are some of the bad things that you have done to your hair?

I went to cosmetology school and did a lot of experiments on my hair. I have a bald spot on the back that was caused from all the bleaching, perming, and color. This was 20 years ago. now the products are much better.

I once used two bleaching products together thinking my hair would bleach fater and not having to do the three step lightening..well my hair was like cornsilk mushy and fell off at the roots


i developed a liking for fancy rhinestone scarves....

Dyed my hair jet black then bleached in blond less than a month later!! It looked really bad, and eventually I had to use a stripping shampoo and a really heavy moisturizing conditioner to make it look somewhat presentable.

I had two streaks in the front bleached blonde when I was in high school--and the rest of my hair was black! Yikes, it was bad.

And the 80s bangs were pretty awful, too. :-)

permed it one week, and then again the next. i think that could've been BAD, but I only left it on for about 4 minutes the second time so I was ok.

I let my mom dye it. That was pretty bad; it was supposed to be a really pretty auburn, but instead, it turned bright red. And purple. And kinda orange, too...

well i currently put hot pink streaks in the front of my hair....i like it but it made it frizzy and dry i regret it now
