God, Mary Kay sales people drive me nuts too. They are so pushy that they give the brand a bad name. Since I have dealt with their sales people, I have not bought MK and do not recommend it to anyone.

If someone ask a question about make-up you will hear a BUNCH of different answers. Not just from Mary Kay but from Avon Reps, Arbonne Reps, people whole love MAC or Cover Girl make-up. Its just an answer! You can choose to read it or move on.
Everyone is different, if we were all the same the whole world would be boring. So, some people's skin is great with Mary Kay others is better with Cover Girl. You just have to experiment and find out what works best with you.
But, the Mary Kay reps are just giving an answer. Whether you choose to read it and take their advice. Is totally up to you!!

We wouldn't be recommending products that didn't work. That would just be stupid. It doesn't matter to me whether someone buys it from me or not, I'm just giving my personal opinion. Also, what you all don't realize is that it's the quality of the makeup that made us decide to sell it. I used Mary Kay for two years before I started selling it.
I noticed though that you didn't mention anything about the Avon ladies and Arbonne reps that are always answering questions and referring the products, too. I see more answers from Avon reps than I do that of Mary Kay.

AMEN SISTA!!! It makes me crazy!! Mary Kay products are not very good quality and the color selection is limited and mostly for old ladies! Same with Avon. I find it hard to believe so many people truly like these lines. I really have a hard time advocating any product that you can't see before you buy it...if they had a product I thought was great, I'd tell ya, but they don't!

Well it is against the TOS to advertise here first of all. The product does work for some people and for others it does not. We all have freedom of choice to use or not to use any product or service.

It does. That is kind of why I dont post any make up questions. They do have some great products, sadly, none of it is their make up IMO. I love their satin hands and satin lips and green tea therapy eye gel. But their skin care line is not sensitive skin friendly, nor is their foundation. I love that they offer refills on their compacts to cut down on waste and what not. I was totally in love with their conditioning mascara but they got rid of it.

The difference between us recommending products that we sell and any random person who has tried a product is that we can get you a free sample so you can decide for yourself.
