You know like someone asks a silly question then they type in (in caps quite often - how rude) that we cant tell them its a silly question or point out basic things

2 examples: (you have seen more im sure)

ok on the internet i found a biography of louis braille. it also showed a picture of his tomb. i looked closely and saw an orb!!! it is really an orb?? i have a picture of it: go to google:
Type in Louis Braille. Go to the wikepedia biography9the first site on the search page) and scroll down. You will see a tomb. click on it to enlarge. you will look at the right hand said by the name Louis Braille. There is a white circle. is it an orb?

What should I meter off when taking a picture of a bridge at night? I have tried doing it with a tripod but was on trial by error to get the correct exposure. Is there a rule I have to follow to get it correct the first time?
Thanks!

Should I purchase the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 or f/1.4? Is the f/1.4 worth the extra cost? I have to conduct a research in a museum and using a flash is restricted due to the sensitivity of the exhibit.
Thanks!

This photo was taken for light and shadow project, I used a tripod and a slow film and a slow shutter speed. Was taken on a 35 mm camera and film and photo were developed and printed by me.

I have a DSR-like camera and really like shallow depth of field shots. Using a wide aperture (aperture priority, f2.8), I took pictures of a row of cars (at a dealership), focused on one and expected the rest further away to be blurry. It didn't come out right....what could have been my problem?

Here are a few links to the pics.

(I put ISO to 1600 and left shutter open for 30seconds and it came up with a very very faint image)
