I have some enlargements which look fantastic and have had matting cut but when I put them in they don't look smooth and flat. I have been taping them to the mounting but the photos look like they are bent when the light catches the photos

I have been asked by my instructor to enter one of my photographs into a student art show. I need to name this photograph. I look at it and It is a "decicive moment" photograph. The picture consist of a construction/remodeling of a school swimming pool. There is paintings in the wall of waves, umbrela, and a surfboard. Then there is tens of birds all around a puddle of water. I included the birds and the wall paintings in this frame. It is awsome!! I need help naming this and pricing it as well. Any help? Thanx

I've had a few JPEG images become unviewable after a few years of storage. Was it only my card or camera that was the problem? Or, is this a common occurance?

What can you do with a fast shutter speed?

To me, if I use even 4000, the maximum, pointed at bright light, I get a very dark (Pitch Black) image.

How can people use 2500-4000 and make a crystal clear, bright image of "Freezing" a waterfall?

I am a photographer and on ocassion, I get asked to shoot at weddings and such. This weeked I had to shoot a wedding, but the priest did not allow flash photography inside. This is NOT a famous church, rather a small community temple, and this is NOT a well lit place. It has low stained glass windows all around (which burned when I exposed for the couple) and very orange tungsten lights... I was forced to use ISO1600 with my fastest (f/1.4) lens. I did OK, but I am wondering WHY DO SOME CHURCHES PROHIBIT FLASH??? Maybe a priest can help answer this...

I'm looking for a really good Digital Photography book that covers everything to do with taking good digital photo's.

In the past I have read other books by John Hedgecoe and Tom Ang. Both have digital books too but I havent seen or read them - I need someone to recommend me a really good, a comprehensive one that covers everything. Great for a beginner etc...

Thanks!

I just made a photo book with Tesco online photo Center. I'm terribly disappointed because the photo quality is so poor and blurry it looks like it came off of someone's cheap color inkjet printer. Can anyone recommend a high picture quality photo book company?

How can you make the shutter speed quicker if youve turned your flash off because say for instance its very bright outside so youve turned your flash off, this then makes the shutter speed slow, this is silly because now you need a fast speed.
This is for a basic-ish automatic camera.

I feel using photoshop to certain extents is kind of cheating. I think doing great works of the craft of photography require emphasis on the actual camera not editing software. I agree photoshops can come out amazing but there is a higher respect within using the one sole utensil, the camera.
