Visual Arts - December 2007

i'm curious about getting into graphic design, and i found this at wally world. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5996533 my question is, would this work for what i want to do? i want to get my artwork online like users on deviantart, but other than scanning or taking a picture (which doesn't look that good) i'm at a loss. thanks for your input. i'm not interested in software answers, the hardware is what i'm interested in. thanks!

okay.
so i'm a beginner for digital photography.
i love it so much, and i really want to take good pictures that i'm proud of. my friends have "photoshoots" sometimes, and i always think i've got some good shots, but in the end result i hate them all.

do you think i'll get better in time if i keep practicing and don't give up?

p.s. here's my gallery if you want to look, and see what i mean. there's nothing special about my pictures, they're so ordinary and boring.

i wanna know where on adobe i do this at! i asked the person, but she doesnt know cuz her dad got and he forgot and she keeps tellin me something about buying somethin on ebay, i dunno
i need some one to help me, to give me a link on where on adobe i do thi stuff, what i get/download/buy.etc
i need ALL the steps some one did from signing up and upgrading and all that stuff, something to help someone who is new to it, first i need to know where on adobe!

and there's a good chance that the original illustrator (who is hard to track down) may be dead, how would I go about doing that?

The original illustration appeared in a document published by the Dept. of Interior in 1971. I suppose I could contact them..

I've started cutting wire and bending it into shapes to create animals or images, but the problem is, I need to know how to make each piece stick together without any glues as they make the art dulled and the metal looses its shine :/ any suggestions?

I want to get sexy/seductive/provocative, etc picture(s) taken of myself to give to my husband as a gift (between us) for christmas.

My problem is that I don't know of any photographers around my area (central Iowa) who do these types of photos. In addition, I don't have the 'attire' nor 'props' to go to a freelance photographer.

How can I find a photographer that meets my needs in Central Iowa (Des Moines area)?
