The biggest, cutest smiley face you can, or something. Or a big heart with a Band-aid type thing on it, and a big smile, of course.

When I was sick, and had to stay out for two weeks from teaching art, my students made a giant get-well card for me. They used a standard sized poster board and folded it over. On the outside , they glued a 9"x12" piece of construction paper horizontally in the upper portion. They wrote simple addition problems and fractions. plus ABC and three different shapes with white ink on the black construction paper. They cut an apple with a brown stem out of red and brown paper, and also a yellow ruler. This was glued on to the card, also. On the bottom, it said :
Get Well Soon written diagonally across the bottom of the page. On the inside were hearts with little messages in them from all 600 of my art students. It was covered. I can not throw it away. I nearly cried when I read them. Hope you like this idea.

Draw a teddy bear with a heart in the middle and a band aid over it you can add stuff in it like a lolly pop or ice cream or a thermometer I hope he gets well :)

Something positive like a smiling face or a heart that has been repaired might clear the boy up.
