Photoshop and Illustrator don't "do" these images. An artist creates them, using the software the same as he'd use any traditional tool.

The line drawings of the cats, for example, may have been created with Adobe Illustrator, but it took an artist who knew what he was doing to use Illustrator to place the line in the shape and location he wanted.

The fills and blurs may have been done in Adobe Photoshop, but the artist still had to know how and where to place the colors, blurs and other features of the images.

It's not like someone types in "cat," "blurred wings," "soft color" and then the software creates the drawing. Before one can be a good digital artist, one must be a good artist.

Buy Photoshop.
Here's a Good Deal I found for Windows users, which I am assuming you have.

But if you have an imac just do a search for Adobe Photoshop CS3 at www.applestore.com

You also need to buy a stylus tool. Here is a cheap one:

The stylus tool is what you will use to do free hand sketch (instead of using the mouse).

You will use the paintbrush feature in Photoshop to do the drawings you are looking at.

It will be almost exactly like drawing on a pad of paper.

Good Luck!

You know I sympathize with your dilemma. But honestly we get so many people on here asking how they can instantly create effects that take a lot of experience to pull off.
Photoshop isn't a point and shoot product, it's a complex tool that takes a lot of experience to get even mediocre results.

The more you learn about photoshop, the more you realize you don't know. It's an endless, learning process, and others are much further along that learning curve than I am.

But to expect us to be able to give you a point and shoot solution is unrealistic.

It shouldn't be more complicated than choosing a proper font size. For large images, you might need sizes in dozens or hundreds of points. It helps to set the size *before* typing. You can still set it afterward, if you can find and select it.

Looks like Adobe may be putting a version of Photoshop online where you can use it for FREE!

Check this link...

If it's available, be prepared to spend a LOT of time learning!
