I am in the middle of making my own-ONE man film.
I have a pair of $300.00 custom made contact lenses.
They are SOFT, non perscription and like I said, they are full eye.
I put a small RIP in one yesterday. Has anyone had experience with a ripped lense and if they HAD to, did they steam on ahead before HAVING to buy another set? Any knowlege about these odd eye costumes would be injested and appreciated by me LODES!
Thank you Sid Grimm

I live in Riverside County, and am looking for a good studio to take maternity photos, and then newborn photos later on. Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions. Reasonable prices preferred. Please include a link if you have one! Thanks!

This is another question about paints. Other than the pigment load and considerable price difference between 'student' and 'artist' grade paint, is there any real difference in the two? Some brands seem much higher than others, probably because of the rarity of pigments?... I was just wondering as I have always used the artist grade, but could I be saving money by using the cheaper grade? Do they not last as long or something? I am really interested to know what your inputs are on this. Also, what brands do you use? Thanks!

Hi all. I was wondering if I could use water mixable oil paint with traditional oil paint? I mean, is it safe? Has anyone done this? I don't want to use it if it will make the film unstable, I looked it up but I found nothing on it. It's in the same brand if that helps any. I guess I wasn't paying that much attention when I bought it...I just saw the color and was quite taken with it! I am going to work on a painting that I will be using a lot of this color and I just diddn't want to mix it with the others if it is going to be a problem, like it lifting or peeling or something. Anyway, your imput, please. Thanks in advance!:)

I'm looking for a good tripod that can be used in studio. My camera it's a Nikon D70, so I need something not very expensive nor so cheap. A friend told me about Promaster, but I'm still not so sure about the quality. Any suggestions?

It is a semi-erotic commercial of two girls rolling a cigar between them. Only top nudity seen discretely. In the end it says "Some cigars are hand rolled" I need to know where I can find it again...

I found pictures that would be great for our theme, and the site said that they can be used without permission so long as it wasn't for commercial purposes.

I don't know if drawing them for the school's yearbook supplement would be considered commercial or not.

I'm looking for a high-quality, digital camera that doesn't require taking out a loan. On the other hand, I'm not looking for a point and shoot. This isn't for family vacations and scrapbooking. I'm looking to do serious work and possibly open my own studio if things go in the right direction.

If I'm going to take pictures of airplanes do I need to have an Image Stabalization Lense or a normal one would be fine. I want quality pictures that can be accepted to airliners.net. Does image stabalization help a lot or a little? Are pictures without image stabilization still good or is there a lot of shaky glare and stuff?

I would like your opinions on my art, check out some of my art here: http://www.myspace.com/145802968 The quality of the images on myspace isn't that great so you can't get the full effect of the pieces.

Thanks for any opinions.
