I found pictures that would be great for our theme, and the site said that they can be used without permission so long as it wasn't for commercial purposes.

I don't know if drawing them for the school's yearbook supplement would be considered commercial or not.

No, I wouldn't worry about it. A school yearbook really isn't considered a commercial purpose. Plus, they'd have to be insane to go after you or your school. It's just not going to happen.

It is only a commercial use if it is published with the intent of earning a profit. If you are not being paid for the design and it is not an advertisement to sell a product or service then you will be fine.

nah, i wouldn't worry about it. a local yearbook isn't considered commercial.

Sounds like you can use them as long as you aren't making money off of them.
