I've just become interested in art... or more interested than I was before. I'm not a very good artist, in that I can't draw people, or basically any object without it looking cartoony. I am, however, very good at making geometric shapes look cool by overlapping them, and using different techniques like hatching, cross hatching, and stippling to fill them in. Is it okay to just keep drawing abstract pieces of artwork, or should I try again to become better at drawing real life things?

I found some old (30+ year old) slides of a foster sister, but apparently moisture got to them and now they're covered with mold. Is there a product that will clean this off?

I am doing a polaroid guest book for my wedding. I have a camera, but it gives me the pictures in a perfect square with the big white bottom. Is there a different kind of polaroid film that I can buy where the picture is more rectangular with the white space on each side?

Pretend I'm applying for a job with the original, originator himself, Walt Disney....add a mix of a Donald Trumpish type of guy and throw in a dash of Willy Wonka.......he's very easily bored, seen it all, and leans towards being in need of something dramatic. This is who I'm trying to work for/with.
I need help coming up with scenerios, ideas, concepts, etc. to get his attention and for him to know I'm serious about my need to collaborate with him. Oh sure, I've tried all the traditional methods....I've tried the front door, the back door, the chimney, humor, sarcasm, challenges, etc. Now I need help. This person has rented out Walt Disney World before so I'm very challenged. (financially as well)
Please give me your wildest thoughts on how to get someones attention, in a creative, positive way. Think scavenger hunt to prove creativity, passion and drive or something else, but try to leave my desperation out of it. :-D
I need that environment to feel whole........HELP!!

The two lenses I'm looking into for my digital camera (Nikon D50) are

70-300 mm DI f/4-5.6 Digital Series AF Zoom Lens

70-210 mm f/4.5-5.6 high speed AF Lens

The main reason I am considering the second one, is it's slightly cheaper. I was wondering if there was a benefit of it being high speed.

Nothing professional, just for my own pleasure. I'm hoping to pick one up in the sales tomorrow, but I've heard you need specific types for taking photos in concert environments, anyone have any tips?

I am wanting to know where and what the first letter in old style book and fairytales are called. The very fanciful, and beautiful and over the top ornate letters are very interesting. I was wanting to know if there is a specific name for these type of letters. Any help would greatly appreciated

Hi,

Im looking for a webpage that i cant remember the name of, its very similar to gettyimages.com and rexfeatures.com

All the pictures are watermarked but unlike rex and getty you can click the images to make them larger to get a better look. The site had thousands of pics of celebrities and all sorts.

Preferably something by Dali or Picasso (obviously something very small, or maybe a hand-signed print). Anyone got any ideas where I could look?

Cheers,
Sam

Our school colors are red and white. We have a falcon as a mascot. I was thinking of looking for some inspiration in some paintings. There was this guy that I heard of but I forget his name, he did that melted clock painting. I was thinking about putting a poem on it, too. Any links to a site that can help is aprecciated.

I am starting a small company that will include:
*Photography (Mostly outside in natural light - portraits, engagement, maternity, family, children)
*Graphic Design (flyers, invitations, favors, Christmas Cards, business cards, ...)
* Event Planning (Showers - baby and bridal, birthday, engagement parties)

I am very involved in my church and love Jesus with all my heart.

I have been thinking about a company name since July this year. I came up with
J29:Eleven Designs. (Favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11) This reminds people of 9/11. I don't want a company name that reminds people of a ver sad day in American History.

I have an excel spreadsheet that is filled with ideas. Can you help?

I really didn't want to have the name too long but because it encompass so much stuff I should include Photography and Graphic Design. You think?

I love these:
Pixel
Shutter
Blissful
Brilliance
Milestone
"Picture is worth a 1000 words"
Cali for California
Curly
