Just like the way that nike has the tick, and Microsoft has the Windows thing, how do I go about registering a Trade mark?

A simple way is to take the logo and mail it to yourself recorded delivery.
That way you have a record of the date and time it was 'created'.
anyone argues over the logo you have evidence of the earliest it was created.
The real way is to find your local patent/copyright office and apply to have it registered.

A logo is like a brand, it must be registered. This is done at the government office of Trademarks and Brands. You can get the address by googling trademarks and brands registration. One tip though, It needs to be done by a lawyer. The law governing these things has been so torted that it is a maze to work through. One slip and you lose it!

Depending upon the country, you have to apply to the copyright or trademark office or agency and after getting the copyright you can mention in your creations as copyrighted.

the first three answers are good advice,but i would add send it to a solicitor get him to stamp the envelope it wont cost an arm or a leg and do not open the recorded letter. LF
