Well, i have been painting since i was 8 but in the past 2 years i have whipped out quite a few things including watercolors, oils, and pencils... Now im getting a large inventory of pieces (around 50 or so) and i want to start selling some.. im not realy emotionally attached to any of them so it wont be that hard to "give them up" but i dont want the to go for no money. I know I'm only 15 but i love the arts and, not to be conceited, but some of my stuff is pretty decent. If you would like to see some follow this link... http://www.nikoncafe.com/vforums/showthread.php?t=93451 anyways... i live in a small town of about 5k and dont really know how to get my name out there and my stuff for people to see, so i dont know where i could "advertise" if you have any ideas of what i could do to try to promote myself to selling some of my pieces i would appreciate the the time. If it helps, i live about 45 minutes from Cleveland Ohio, or about 2 1/2 hours from columbus.

I am using 2 250W halogen photog bulbs in industrial aluminum dish clampable flood lights with a canon dig. pwershot sd450 and still getting dark images.
All this aside, what is the best way to get a crisp indoor shot with this camera and not spending alot of money?

i think there is a digital camera out there that has the function where it will isolate a color when taking a picture. for example it will take a pic black and white but only red will come up. any ideas?

I would like to make my own postcard from my art works.

Does anyone know where I can do that?

I am looking for a store that accept 30 or so print orders as a minimum, not that expensive, and good quality. (or close to that)

I know this is probably a shot in the dark but... My parents were in Niagra Falls in 1950 on their honey moon. They bought a painting (not a very expensive one, but nice) while they were there. My sister borrowed it and while she had it in her home there was a fire and everything was lost. We have been looking for the painting ever since it was destroyed. It was a picture of an old English Cottage. Lots of greenery and some flowers. I think it had a thached roof. Can anyone help find another one?

Thank you all who helped before regarding my question on increasing my depth of field to overcome not having manual focus while shooting stop animation.

My question is, if I focus on an object about 10 inches away on f8 at 1/2 sec, is the depth of focus behind the object, in front or equal distance.

It may seem a stupid question but bear with me.
