...photographer. Specifically, to market myself, advertise and to go on shoots, commercial or residential, for a profit? I know their are tax issues here. But other than that is it legal or not? You know, without being in business for yourself but under the table. And without making this too complicated here.

Ive seen some different designs or products from mainly www.wacom.com but im not sure which one would be best suited for me. I want to basically draw with it, and perhaps use it on www.drawball.com. Could someone help me out and put me in the right direction. A4 size would be nice and it doesnt have to be wireless, well only the pen, o chord on that would be anoying.

I paint with oils and I notice that sometimes if I do a heavily darkened solid area, using say raw umber, it dries with a glossy sheen where its been applied thick. This is annoying because when they hang on the wall afterwards, it reflects the light. Any tips on how to avoid? I don't use linseed oil, just straight up oil paints from the tube. Thanks :)

Thanks in anticipation.

Punctuation has died, long live the dot dot dots....

I do detailed work that takes many hours and I'm wondering if I'm better off painting with an easel or a drafting table? My main concern here being my posture and developing back pain.
