WHY??? would you pay lots of money for it?? i like paintings and pictures of nature and animals, calming sort of pictures, but whats up with this modern obsession to have people who are almost dehumanized bloody and monstrous, why is it that macabre art is so bleeding appealing...? i find it freaks me out.

I have been stockinette-ing (nothing but knit on the circular needles) but I think i have the wrong-side of the piece out - the stockinette flares out and up from the 'top' of the needles - some reason this seems backwards - does it even matter? and i want to taper soon - what knit will taper "in" toward the center of the needles - I'm knitting a cap and I'm trying to just "wing it" as I go along - but the cap I've adapted some design ideas from goes from stockinette to knits to reduce

I went to the thrift store and bought about 10 frames sizes 3x5 to 8x10 some are wood some are plastic. It worked well in our apartment but we moved into a house and now I don't know if it "goes".

I found some reasonably priced stuff at allposters.com, but my friends told me it would be cheaper to do it myself. I'm not very artsy craftsy, so I'd rather pay the extra and have it framed well and quickly, but not if it really is easy and the price is a lot different...

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while now and I really want something feminine and small. But I've been scared to get one, because I don't want people to suddenly not take me seriously - like a future boyfriend. I want to place it somewhere where i can hide it if I want to, because I really like the idea of having a little secret... so i guess I'm asking for your oppinion on tattoos and any experience you've had with people judging you by it and discriminating. Fighting inside,
Cannot seem to control...this urge,
Day in day out,
In Myself I try to confide,
With sweat pouring,
Body shaking,
Still cannot find out why.
Mind in a bind
In a fix state of tribulation,
praying for salutations,
Wanting to end it all.
Can't believe what I started,

Sorry if this is the wrong section but it was the most suitable one I could find. If you don't know I would really appreciate it if you took the time to do a search for me because i'm at my wits end trying to find good information on this subject!!

I am looking for information on cameo necklaces. Cameo moulds/molds? I am wondering how you would make your own and what you would use.
How to get the shape for the mould.. would you need to get your chosen design sculpted in metal and make a mould out of that then find some sort of clay to make the piece for the necklace..?

I have been drawing, scratching, around on paper as long as I can remember. I have used many other expressive mediums of Art as well. It has been a dream of mine to have my own line of greeting cards that no one else has to offer. I am at the point right now that I am confident in my workings where I believe I am good enough to pull that off. I have several original characters of my own that I believe will work well togather with some carefully composed text to convey Heart felt emotion.
