I think that modern art is considered art simply because: (1) it was made by someone who was already famous; or, (2) art critics tell us what we are supposed to like.

To lump all modern art into a single category does a great disservice to many contemporary artists.

While some of it does look like it could be done by a child there are many times more modern artists who's works are complex, profound and original. It's highly unlikely that anyone less than a gifted artist could create paintings like those of Dali, is there?

Here is one of my paintings. Yes, it's modern art. You tell us how many preschoolers can do this?

Here is an earlier work. Also 'modern' art. I'm sure you can find many preschoolers who can paint this.

Awww Hun, no individual needs something to be incorrect with their babbies, yet when there's a delay or deficit then the faster he has the intervention the bigger danger of him catching as a lot as his age team for milestones. We neglected out on having to do speech treatment through a smidge and our son may nevertheless ought to ensure a occupational therapist and a physio therapist via a foul foot he has. My daughter has to flow to workshops for her gross motor skills because her ball handling skills are way decrease than for her age team. My element is that maximum households have a baby or toddlers that desire early intervention for what ever reason even with the undeniable fact that it makes an excellent distinction to the commonplace of everybody's lives. this is a good element, attempt to seem at it truthfully, your son, even with if he's really behind would have a incredible danger of catching as a lot as his friends.truthfully it is not any diverse to wanting extra help for studying and writing even as some childrens commence college. I guess your babby will kick butt and teach them there is not any situation in any respect.

I remembered a huge red canvas with some triangles painted in black...It sold for a ridiculously inappropriate amount of money..
I didn't understand...But that was the idea, I think. A lot of "modern artists" are bloody snobs.

All this is happening while there are so many REALLY good starving artists...
Who, of course, will be discovered after they die, and THEN misunderstood... Or so we all hope : ) *fingers crossed*

I used to, but then I started studying art and learned a great deal, the more you look at some, the more you see. Sometimes, the art is great simply because it was new and original.

Some modern art but not all. Modern Art is a broad category.

Some of it, yes. Especially the ones that just use one color over the whole canvas or dribbling different color paint. It seems in art, if you do it first it's considered art. It's all in the promotion. Some people can sell anything to people.

Yes many people would agree....except those who claim to 'know' about art, lol........ and stand for hours in front of a piece of art dissecting, analysing, interpreting......UNDERSTANDING the psyche and emotions of the artist.....give reasons why he painted it this way..... and sometimes they would be embarassed if the artist really showed up and told them...oh...I was just trying a new colour mix.....

Also, check out this other website, and tell me if this gorilla "artist's" junk doesn't remind you of all the rest of the modernist nonsense you've ever seen? I mean, if an ape can do it, how hard can it be. You call that art??? It's a joke. Hooah!
