When I was a teenager, I believed that it did. I used to smoke pot just to draw, and I thought it was sooooo good. Now that I no longer smoke it, and matured, I look at those drawings and just laugh. They were creative, but just off the wall.

Funny! I hope you are not serious! From my personal experience,it opened up my mind to all the other drugs, cocaine, pills, alcohol, acid, mushrooms, and anything else that I could get my hands on.When the pot didn't do the job then I would find something that would,at this point in my life,I didn't care what it was,if you told me it would "get me high"man I came a running. It is the stupidist thing you can do!!!exactly the opposite,it will not open anything but you wallet. It actually gives you tunnel vision, and the only thing you can see is the next hit.And yes the majority of pot smokers will tell you it won't hurt you,but they are wrong and they know it.You will wake up 20years down the path of life and say, wow!what happened!!Don't be fooled by this drug!!One is too many and a thousand is not enough!!Peace and Love!!

If you mean in the creative imagination sense No, and if you mean Marijuana? However if you mean in the chemically destroying your Nero peptides in your Nero net of your brain causing it to "open up", then yeah kinda. This is something that many dealers love to try to tell people! It is something quiet commonly thought of, when in fact it has been proved that Marijuana use, actually limits the part of your brain that creates creative or imaginative thought, and it also causes laziness which stops you from being bothered to actually paint that creative idea, and it causes you to lose concentration and focus which is another thing that helps in the creative processes. So it basically stuffs your brain up and makes you a dependent idiot. If you want to open your mind up try reading the philosophy page, doing meditations, and educating yourself allot more in science. Hope this will help. :)

Don't think so medicinally they claim it's an appetite stimulant
vs nausea and a mild euphoric to help allay the suffering of the
terminally ill it may help relax one for sleep or work with eye disease but only you can learn to have an open mind ...look into school reading meditation seeking the truth thinking out of the box being skeptical minded and dialectical in your analysis of new info listen to the experts with a critical ear...good luck

Only you can answer that question. The psychological effects of ingestion of hydrocanibinol-delta-9, the psychoactive constituant of marijuana is a relatively personal experience. I suggest that to answer your question you try for yourself. p.s. You were correct in your spelling of marihuana. There are a number of grammatic variations.

Kinda depends on the person really. For me it's always made me see things differently and i've thought up of some good story ideas. I know some people though who just get spacey and do nothing. Really what it does is relax you to a point were you can see beyond the walls you've made to protect yourself and sometimes see things objectively

Marijuana will expand whatever is in your mind to begin with, if you have a naturally curious and adventureous mind, then yes, it will give you wings, and a good time. If, on the other hand, your mind is filled with paranoia, fear, and inferiority complexes, then you will probably not enjoy the trip.

most of the people here come from the Alcohol culture
and they are religious
drunk people go to sleep at night .not questioning their beliefs
people who smoke sit up all night questioning everything
and many come to different conclusions than their upbringing taught them
this is why the church and it followers hate Marijuana, because because people change
but if you smoke to much ,the same as if you drink too much
you get out of it and don't know much of what is going on any more as so many point out
what kills far more braincells than marijuana is cocaine and those sort of drugs and alcohol

You're seeking enlightenment by focusing on the physical. Forcus on the spiritual instead. Focus within yourself to open your mind.
