I found some reasonably priced stuff at allposters.com, but my friends told me it would be cheaper to do it myself. I'm not very artsy craftsy, so I'd rather pay the extra and have it framed well and quickly, but not if it really is easy and the price is a lot different...

Some craft stores carry the items you are looking for. But if you want quality materials I would suggest an art supply store

There's no much monetary difference I'll say go and have it framed already, so when it comes to your house it can go straight to its special place.

you should try to see if the seller is legit or not, try dogpile.com they are great, then meet up or talk with the seller.
