I want a good quality lens. How much is it going to cost me though? And how do I tell a "good lens" from a mediocre one? Any model suggestions? (for Canon digital 30D)

I was wondering about the health and safety aspect because raku is low fired and I'm sure eggs absorb "stuff" through their shells. Does the amount of time come into this? Glazes don't have lead in anymore, but there are plenty of other harmful elements.

Google picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

I know the painters tried to minimize flaws. But that does not explain why the subjects' eyes looked glazed or puffy, or why different paintings of the same subject often looked markedly different. For example, if you look at all the paintings of Marie Antoinette, you will see that most of them look like paintings of completely different people.

How is it that the painters could accurately capture the appearance of fabrics, furniture, buildings, etc., yet had so much trouble accurately recreating faces?
