Luis Royo is an excellent draughtsman and I do like and respect his artistry; however, I think he uses the same 2-3 models or something, as all of his depictions indeed look like sisters.
Anyways, Royo's tendency of painting near photo-realistic, beautiful, exotic women (usually, alone) with dynamic, scant outfits and often times wielding a weapon are in themselves not particularly unique; he does have a soft touch with his visualizations, however.
His contemporaries (in other words, similar artists) include Boris and Julia Vallejo, John Zeleznik, Olivia, Jim Burns, Frank Frazetta, Joe Jusko, Brom, Simon Bisely (when he's not too crazy), Romas (when he's crazy enough).
Also, check a place most of these artists work often gets featured: Heavy Metal Magazine (when the publisher isn't wasting his whole magazine on his wife Julia Strain, who's posed for like half of these artists).
