yes i agree that it says 'romy' and that it was done in yr '00', but when i tried looking it up on yahoo search it just gave me a bunch of crap, i need the actual name at the bottom of the pic. for some reason i think it says "valentine..." but i can't decipher the rest.

it looks like it could be valentin romy productions with a copyright on it, i am still trying to decipher it but the photo is not really good. At what website did you find the pic? They would have the answer for you as they posted it.

No picture is displayed, but I might be able to help if I could see it... Now that I see it, it looks like it says Romy. It was painted in 2000, hence the '00 at the bottom under the name. Interesting painting...

Wow...that's a tough one. Unless the artist is well know either widely or locally, there' s not much telling. This does, however look like a picture of a character from a comic book series written by J. Michael Straczynski -- "Rising Stars". There was a character by the name of "Poet" who had long dark hair and wore a trench coat. Good luck with this one. It really doesn't matter who did the work, though. As long as you enjoy it, that's the most important aspect of art.
