Blue Colour?

Describe the blue Colour, how do u feel when u see it???!!??!?

Blues generally have a feeling of air, space, a spiritual quality. But different blues are a little like the same note played on different instruments. I reckon Cobalt blue with white is the airiest (great for cold mountain spaces). Ultramarine (warm) is more like deep water (great for water,) with viridian, and makes the best violet with Alizaran. Cerulean cool but makes good atmospheric skies with a little ochre, or city sky with little burnt sienna. Pthallo is cool and hard - catches the quality of bright metal with the right mixes, including viridian. So they are all blues, but all evoke different responses. And they all "speak" slightly differently with different whites. I love 'em!

When I think of blue I think of the ocean, and sand, I think of hearing the waves rolling in and laying on a sandy beach.. Children playing, and having fun, building sand castles and running to the waves and then back. I think of sand in my swimsuit, and how much I hate it! I think of watching my children have fun and looking into their smiling faces with their gigantic BIG Blue eyes... ~ Amberlen ~

blue is one of the cool colors, it has a calming effect on people. i find that it a relaxing color to be around.
