I think Aristotelian ethics are the best foundation I know of. However I'm asking about a scientific or philosophical way of determining sound ethical principles.

since darwin died and out with him his theory...LOL....now we have idiots running the show,,uh ohhhh....are we all going to get more stupid as the generations continue?......would it be that far fetched that adolph was actually darwins theory in work, he wanted to kill congenitally defected people, retarded people, you get my drift,,, what do you think a world would be like if we did kill off all of those less so perfect people and kept only highly intelligent people? versus where our future is heading now? just curious what you think

One of the primary reasons we came out of the stone-age, was once we didn't have to worry 24-7-365 about strictly survival/food, we actually started thinking, and morphed into some greater than past generations. We started to create more tools, writing, literature, science, math, poetry, etc

Now with the world on a 24-7-365 mode of being entertained(or killing "boredom"), with I-PODs, CellPhones, E-Mail, ad nauseum, with no real time to think and process/assimilate information, where are we going?

Can you think of a totally new musical instrument in the past 100 years, or great philosopher? We have "cured" disease only for those same ones to come back in newer strains that drugs can't even touch.

Where are the great minds of the past 50 years? Or leaders for that matter?

Do you paint yourselves in boxes because of your race, gender,, age, external expectations of others or do we choose what we really desire????? Freedom is a state of mind.....Freedom is sign of self-awareness and outgrowth of our willingness to make conscious choices of our own free will......

Nothingness (no air, no darkness w/e) and Infinite (never ever ending) are both impossible for our human minds to completly grasp, but we must have some idea.

How do you see nothingness and infinite????

I think of nothing as the the space out of your vision. The blind spot at the back of your head that your eyes do not see. You dont see it as black like when you shut your eyes, it just seems like nothing is there, no darkness w/e.

Infinite- By the time you get to what you would imagine to be infinity, infinity has since gone another infinity away so that it is impossible for you to reach and almost as hard to understand it.

Do you have the courage and strength to wield the sword of truth?

Are white lies really that 'white'? If you use a white lie aren't you just delaying pain instead of preventing it - and in the delay doesn't it fester and grow?
