I don't think it's everyone's nature to destroy. God put us on this earth to take care of what he had already created. but i think that some people just have it in them to destroy. My ex could sit at a wooden table doing nothing but trying to rip it apart. some people i think are born with it.

No... if it were, we would no longer be, we'd had destroyed ourselves by now. It is in men's nature to create, that's why although we started with little we have managed to achieve a level of technology and life unimaginable to our ancestors.
However, I believe that it is in men's nature to control and sometimes that need to control may lead to a justification of wars, genocides, destruction... I also believe that is in men's nature to forget what he/she prefers not to know and we continue to live everyday as if all these horrible things didn't/don't happen. We allow ourselves to watch a movie that costs millions in the making without thinking how that money could have saved a village. We curl in bed at night and wake up for a midnight snack without remembering that there are people who haven't eaten in days and do not have shelter. I think we would go crazy if we didn't have the ability to put it away... but should we? I don't know
In any case, to answer your question, NO... fortunately for us, there is still hope, our nature is to create and destruction is a plague we need to keep fighting.

What behaviour is not in human nature?
Perhaps we use to investigate always from one side, but when the mind is capable of answering the question from multiple aspects, then his soul get satisfied, but this require ego free honesty. There are many reasons associated with every single act.
Normally the biggest stimulation of world war is religion based, secondary political & power, others are to capture the resources of other poor nations, to safeguard homeland and so on.
Who is true in the war or destruction, will be decided after death, but if you investigate you can analyse who are the real truthful, by seeing there "slogans" in the initial stages which they use to prepare there civilians for war, then the common resistance factor of the captured country i.e. the country they capture how is the reaction of peoples, and thirdly by watching what laws they implement after capturing such states.

Humanity is capable of such horrible and ugly things, but also of such wonderful and beautiful things. While there's always something horrible happening in the world, there's always people working to make it better. We are social animals, therefore territorial and status seeking, so there's bound to be fights and wars over it. But we also have a conscience and morals and foresight, so there will always be people doing just as many good things. I think there is a balance, it's just that a destructive action is much more noticed than a selfless one.

It's not in nature, it's at man's will. I can destroy, but I don't want to. Someone can and does it. We can do everything, but we are to decide - to do or not to do. I think it's better to speak about aggression in man's nature. And here is the key - some people more aggressive, others more peacefull, nevertheless, aggression is present in our nature anyway, and, as stated above, we have to manage it.

I think Mr. Smith from the Matrix said it pretty well. All plants and animals find a balance of sorts with their surroundings, except for humans and viruses. We move in, utilize or destroy all available resources, then move on if possible, or turn on each other.

Well, I wouldn't quite use the word "destroy", but yes it is in man's nature to do wrong because of his many contradictory interests, thoughts and beliefs.
It is also in man's nature to fight these contradictions in order to achieve the moral good.
Therefore, it's up to each and everyone of us.
What will we allow to prevail in us?

I think it is our nature to build to survive in that process though things get destroyed. We just keep expanding anywhere we can.

I think it's man's nature to explore and conquer with any and all means at his disposal all to be and, or regarded as the top dog.
