My main pont is:
We don't believe in truth that we say we don't see
but
Believe in most false things that we say we do hear

Firstly they would have to truthfully figure out if what goals they were even shooting for were right and good and just and honorable and benificial, then they would have to decide what actions to take to reach that goal based on wether it has all positive effects and side effects, or all positive effects and some negative side effects, and if not that then all positive effects and all negative side effects, and then some postive effects and some negative side effects, and then mostly positive effects and mostly negative effects and mostly negative effects and mostly negative side effects and then lastly all negative side effects and all negative side effects. Isn't this a spectrum with which to rate possible actions so as to have a tool to decide what would be the actual true best action to take? would this help any government be more benevolent and effective?

Half a year ago a person told me that he felt I hold the key to free his soul. And this person meant this totally serious.
What could be a "key" to free another persons soul.
Do you have any idea which could give me some inspiration what this could mean?

will you merely sit back and wait for it to happen or will you be engaged in something of value till the last moment? I would still like to plant a tree today even if I know that it will all end tomorrow. What do you say?

Some people here in Yahoo Answers think Philosophers are dumb and Philosophy is useless.
Citing for example the the system of education in most parts of the world, if not all, do we see adaptation from Aristotle and Plato's concept in light to this? Obviously I have a positive outlook to this. How about you?
Please explain your answer.

Thank you for your time.

Just for the sake of short term satisfaction we hurt lots of people and loose lots of longterm happiness that is rather not seems very bright but it effects a lot in our lives, that we know after having those short term satisfaction, that Oh! we have lost a lot for the sake of this?.
All humans have same feeling to feel, if you hurt somebody or get hurt you always have negative feeling, if you give happiness to somebody or somebody gives you both feel happy, means human knows the result of their doing then why they do negative things without knowing that this may reflect to them also. Because scientifically every action has its reaction. The life is only come for once and I think we should respect each other and live happily and do anything positive we can, to produce more happiness in life, in this way we can make the world a better place for all.

Since I first read this of his, I have been totally intrigued.
At times I almost think to have arrived at the answer, as if I'd had a moment of satori . . or had deciphered satisfactorily to a Zen master, the answer to a Koan. And yet, just as I'm ready to say ; "yeah, that's right!" . . I fall back into thinking : "What?".

Anyone who'd offer help?

What would their reasons be for being friendly to us?

Let's also consider what it takes to become a Super advanced civilization. I would think that in order to become so advanced, a civilization would not be able to tolerate all the freedoms we tolerate here on earth, because it would simply be counter-productive and a waste of resources.

I would think that a Super advanced civilization would probably function similar to how Hitler ran Nazi Germany, where emotions were set aside and everything was based on efficiency and advancement. They didn't allow for people to hang around not working or for handicapped people to take up time and resources etc. Anyone being unproductive would be eliminated and so on...

So I'm thinking a super-advanced civilization would probably not be very friendly and patient with us freedom-loving humans.

What do you guys think?
