in fact this is a good question to ask. The only problem is that when somebody is really telling the truth and the other does not want to believe you. The fact is that some people can't handle the truth that why they like to be lie to.

A fact can be part of the Truth. The truth may have nothing to do with any given fact.
What I hear is not a fact until it is backed up with research, it is only "pending" data.

Some people believe things that they don't see for example God and some people don't believe things even though they have seen with their own eyes. It all depends on yourself whether to believe it or not, whether is the truth or fact.

the truth is..... that not all facts are truths and not all truths are facts.....
that's a fact ;)
joking (?) aside... what we perceive as the truth becomes a fact to us because if we'd constantly doubt everything we'd be turning in circles... (although I always keep a few grains of doubt unless I have 100% proof)

Truth is fact.
Fact can be proven wrong hence is not truth.
Human beings by nature need something relatively tangible to even begin to believe in it.
