Is there a connection between the law of attraction and Norman Vincent Peale's movement towards positive thinking.

Did the law of attraction emerge due to Norman's philosophy, or is it a law on its own not relating to anyone?

If all mans laws are under God and God doesn't go against the laws of man
Question Details: then it is reasonable to believe that God would not favor a man that would go against the laws of man. Any man that breaks the laws of man is considered a criminal in the eyes of the law of man. We could drastically reduce the number of criminals by simply updating the antiquated laws of man. Many laws were written more for the protection of horses from the automobile on streets that don't often see horses these days. These are not the only laws that create criminals by the thousand every day. Just because it's not prosecuted doesn't prevent them from breaking the laws and ignorance of the law is no excuse for criminals according to the law. Why should God have to deal with habitual offenders every time he talks to a man?

the Platonic Quest is partly a failure of nerve, a reluctance to cope with the complexity and uncertainty of the world as it is.

the Platonic Quest is the quest for a universal ethical standard that aspires to conceptions of knowledge and ethics whose claims to validity are entirely independent of particular linguistic practices.

I am not a frequent movie watcher, but sometime ago i saw this movie called "spirited away" and it quickly became my favorite. THe movie carried me off to a world filled with the most abstract spawn of my imagination and pervaded my spirit so that i continued to revel about it long after it was finished. I know there must be HEAVY symbolism in it and i've caught some of it. But i would like to know what others think is symbolic.

My parents got me a video camera last year... and we realized i didn't have much use for it... my mother came up with the idea ot have an annual filming of each one of the family where i ask questions.. kind of like an interview. I need a list of questions to ask.. help please? ps... i'd film it around every Chistmas/New Year's.
So far:
Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?
Right now, who are some of your close friends, and what makes them such a good friend?
What humors you?
What makes you happy?
What makes you angry?
What book are you currently reading?
Who is an idol or influence in your life right now?
How do you feel about the present issues; is there anything you wish to voice?
Is there anything you are currently looking forward too?
If you could do anything tomorrow, what would it be an why?
Do you have any Resolutions? Why?

my last question of all would be:
Do you have anything else you'd like to say?

If God is all powerful yet he gave us free will and built this world with boundries and the structure of time. Then wouldn't it stand to reason that if he ( god himself) did anything to alter this world that he would break the boundaries he built. Not saying he couldn't influence man or beast even to do his work.

Please think carefully about it. And I only want serious answers because this is a serious question.

And if your wondering, Yes. I think I let my inner-child free. Maybe even a little too much lol.I like playing childhood games with my little cousins, collecting stuffed animals, indulging in a good bowl of ice cream and watching The Lion King on a Friday night for the 100th time. =)
