Please think carefully about it. And I only want serious answers because this is a serious question.

And if your wondering, Yes. I think I let my inner-child free. Maybe even a little too much lol.I like playing childhood games with my little cousins, collecting stuffed animals, indulging in a good bowl of ice cream and watching The Lion King on a Friday night for the 100th time. =)

"Dad?" It was my seven-year-old daughter, looking up from a drawing she had been working on for some time. "What's your favorite number?"

"Seventy-one," I answered. "Whatcha doing?"

"Just a minute, I'm almost done," she said. I was intrigued, but I knew enough to let her have her space till she was ready to show me. Sure enough, in about two minutes she hopped out of the chair and trotted over to where I was sitting. (This child, we used to tell people, doesn't walk. When they looked sympathetic, we'd clarify it -- she can run, skip, trot, canter, gallop, spring, leap, frolic, saunter, all that and more, but she never walks.)

"Here, Dad, I've made you a Kid License," she said, handing me a little piece of paper with my name on it. "It's license number 71, and here it says Grade: Best. Now if anybody asks you, you can show them this license and it'll prove to them you're a kid."

It was the greatest treasure I had ever received, or ever would receive. "Why, thank you, honey! I'll keep this forever." (She's almost 16 now, and the kid license is in my wallet this moment.)

She showed me something else. "And this," she said, "is a map to Kid Land. It's a lot of fun!" She pointed out the many attractions: "Here is the water slide, and here's a merry-go-round. Over here is the petting zoo, and there's a playground with that squishy rubber stuff so you bounce when you jump off the swings."

I saw a straight line leading off the right-hand edge of the paper and asked, "What's that?"

"Oh, THAT," she said, disdain entering her voice like a chill wind. "That's the road to Grown-up Land. All anybody ever does THERE is work."

So in this household, the "outer children" keep the "inner children" busy night and day. Even if some of the bigger kids have to spend more time in Grown-up Land than they'd like...

I let my inner child out as much as I can. During my childhood, I had to look after myself and my siblings, younger and older. I didn't have time for myself or to even be a child myself. So, nowadays I try to do little things here and there to remember a childhood I missed out on. My parents were around but my dad was involved in his work and my mom was always gone shopping, plus more things that my parents were doing that didn't revolve around the kids. I buy myself things like candy or other board games that I didn't have when I was younger.

I try to whenever possible... Whether it is watching a kids movie. Goofing around with the nieces, and nephew. Or the odd time playing a game on one of my consoles. If you read through my answers, you will find there are quite a few that have some kind of humour in it. To quote from a movie... "Don't take life too seriously. You'll never get out alive."

Yes! I have a toddler and I find myself coloring, doing ballerina dances, watching Elmo and Dora, playing with dolls, singing silly songs, enjoying childrens books and seeing the world through a child's perspective all day long! I love and appreciate how my daughter can find the funny and enjoyable things in life so easily. She is simple, knows what she wants, doesn't take things personally and loves her family no matter what they look like and other faults we might have. I am deffinately learning a lot from her!

i can savor what you assert and also you do have a properly concept out argument. although, censorship in this is broadest experience, does no longer make a human beings loose. it really is an oppressive and cancerous blight that provides a promise of protection by using suppressing a nasty ingredient, yet once you start up attempting to oppress a "undesirable" ingredient, it quickly turns into totally what somebody else translates as "undesirable." I agree there is little redeeming about the messages in rap music, although, with the intention to be extremely loose, you ought to take the abuse alongside with the advantages. The trick is to assist those who would get their suggestion from it, to allure to close it really is morally corrupt and poor....and also you do not do this by using outlawing it. in truth, censorship typically consequences in the option and historic previous has shown that, time and time back. as well to, cities like Chicago who've such problems with their youngsters, won't be able to position the blame squarely on the shoulders of the leisure market. it really is a lot a lot deeper than that. Rap music actually places into words what those youngsters are fairly experiencing. It purely supplies them a voice, no longer that this is unavoidably precise, even though it supplies an section to direct the trend and desperation those little ones sense. there is now a turning out to be and massive technology of persons who've and are turning out to be up without fathers and moms who're no longer married, dooming a whopping 2/3 of their offspring to a life of poverty and typically authorities dependence. you've a society the position The pill, presented this month 50 years in the past, promised sexual freedom, decreased divorce, decreased newborn abuse and decreased STD occurences, at the same time as in reality that one and all of those parts have skyrocketed in share of persons affected. you've inner city adverse human beings, really blacks, who're centred by using planned Parenthood lower than the guise of girls's healthcare, preforming maximum persons of abortions on black women. you've inner city faculties that do not even meet the basics of cleanliness or bogs that fairly have operating water or heated school rooms. you've a part of society that lives in desperation and hopes to proceed to exist the thugs who rule, both on the streets and in administration, and count number themselve fortunate in the journey that they don't get shot or understand somebody else who's. Rap purely supplies a voice to what's already taking place.
