To nourish my creativity, I find music and air tend to do a world of good. For my own deeper growth (I know some people hate to hear this) but the Bible. If you just read it, especially about the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5 I think), it really helps you become a more well rounded person. The teachings are so simplistic and real.. they just stick with you.

I think for me, it's the thirst for knowledge that nourishes me. I hate the fact that I'm only going to live 100 years (give or take 20 years, lol) because I want to learn everything about everything. I want to see it all, and experience it all. I know this is impossible on so many levels, but I plan on trying to experience as much as I can.

The thing is, we really do know NOTHING, and that drives me crazy. I suppose once we die and go to heaven God will fill us in, but I wish we had more time on earth to learn.

traditionally, especially in the far east, and probably not so much the case in our hyper-materialistic culture, a person turns toward meditation and various other "internal energy enhancement" modalities: yoga, chi kung, reiki, etc. to support "consciousness expansion". some call it the "path of initiation". actually, it is the proven method for realizing the potential most humans are born with, but never seek to explore, for one reason or another. unquestionably, doing the practices necessary to heal yourself, and to expand your awareness beyond the ordinary can only enhance your life experience. take a look at http://www.crystallotus.com http://www.cosmicharmony.com http://www.sahajayoga.com and the book *the complete idiot's guide to toltec wisdom* for some thought -provoking info and help in the area. when your "soul" urges you to ask a question like this it indicates that you're ready for the journey. best of luck ;-)
