God is every where!
But?
Only peoples in India is trying to achive there, and they are reaching.
No one in any other country is/was reached there.
But in India
Lot of them we can see
Buddha
Jainan
Sankaracharya
Sree Narayana guru
chattambi swamigi etc etc....
I think who want to go 'Paramapadam', he/she want to born in India, and for that they want to do a lot in their previous life (Mun janmam).
India (Baratam) is the only country can guide the world in peace.

There is an old joke that used to go around something like...this man dies and goes to heaven and Saint Peter is showing him around...they go past many rooms and people are singing and celebrating the lord, Jews in one room, Catholics in another, and so on and so on and so on, then they pass one room and Saint Peter puts his fingers to his lips and 'shhhhhh' as they tippy toe by it. Later the man asks Saint Peter, why did we have to be quiet and tippy toe past this one room...and Saint Peter answers, those are the Baptists and they think they are here alone. Perhaps he should have said those are the followers of Sai Baba?
Perhaps you do not think so, but when you even ASK a question like that it makes it sound as if you do.

perhaps he was thinking of sai baba living there. sb is often thought of as an avatar, an incarnation of "god", or at least of an aspect of "him". another possibility is that he was thinking in terms, generally, of how ancient and "potent" the vedic "religion" is, and just how many gods and goddesses are associated with this practice. in any event, although i've never visited india, i have studied its culture, religions, etc. it is certainly a holy place with many very powerful sacred sites. if god/goddess chose to live exclusively in the third dimension, india would be a reasonable choice.

I am not sure, but the major religions that are practiced in India have God like images. Is this not the God that he was referring too?

Late R.K.Karanjia of 'Blitz' said in his books that GODS LIVES IN INDIA, based on some the quotes on "materialisation by Sankapa" from Sri Satya Sai Baba, mentined below-
- Materialisation, that is, production of objects deliberately on this physical plane, as if from nowhere, is the most powerful attraction drawing thousands of people to Sathya Sai Baba. Sai Baba himself explains the materialisation of a gift for a person as an expression of his love. "For me this is the kind of visiting card to convince people of my love to them and secure their devotion in return. Since love is formless, I use materialisation as evidence of my love."
- "They are neither magical tricks nor SIDDHIC powers. These can come to everybody with the appropriate discipline and yoga exercises, but my powers to protect, heal and save people and materialise objects originate in God and can be used only by an Avatar. They are in no way designed, disciplined or developed, but flow from Cosmic Power itself."
- I materialise objects by my Sankalpa; it is a mental power that creates. If you develop your mental powers and purity of heart you can also do it, provided you love the entire creation as I do." -
