I believe "someone" pointed out that 'I' is in constant change and hence there is no such thing as 'I'. May i point out that this is a logical conclusion without a conclusion! It doesnt answer the question of being? considering the theories that arise out of consciousness i.e. infinity or nothing. Logically explain existence, remembering that just accepting what you couldnt possibly understand isn't an explanation, and i'll believe existence. If anyone can explain this WITHOUT the often predicated logic, then i will go up in a puff of smoke. Surely we dont just accept something as being fact, when we cant understand how it came to be fact? As i say, to have reason and not use it is not reason, is it?

Consider this: If God created the heavens and earth in the same way he created light then the words, or the idea of, heaven and earth preceded the manifestation. This is certainly true of the displayed "light", as the words "let there be" definiteley came before it, if taken as read, which is the only way we can take it. Therefore, thought existed before "light", making thought the first instance of a constant. It makes sense as light only became a constant when someone 'thought' about the concept logically.

Your father, your enemy, your friend, your love, voice what?

my 2yo daughter gave me that idea. Could also say: Person1: I am here. Person2: No your not, you're there. you cant be here, i'm here. Unless you CAN be in two places at one time? Many other connotations, i'm sure, of this nature can be found.

I have always wondered if there is more than just word-play involved. Of course there are philosophical implications involved in everything?

Why does it seem that some people have no heart, no soul inside of them. They lie and scheme and stab you in the back without giving it a second thought, while some people, like myself, would not even think of killing a fly, let alone hurt another person. What makes us so different. What makes people so indifferent to the suffering that they may cause others?

I would make all people loving, caring, beautiful, strong and compassionate. I think if the human race werent so cold, the world would be a warmer place. Could you imagine if we were all equally beautiful, smart, and wealthy?

*Live and love are only one letter apart, but you do not need to have one to have the other.
*Dreaming and doing are different things.
*Friends are family you choose, and they mostly come and go.... it's the fact that you CAN'T choose that makes your family so precious.
*Have friends and have family. Often they mix.
*If a real friend gets to Heaven before you do, they'll drill a hole and pull you in.

We all know the line in the Constitution, but is life really meant to be happy. Do you think we are here to search for happiness? It seems like the main goal of humans; if we aren't happy in a relationship, with our job, or whatever it may be, we leave and start over in search of something else that can make us feel more happy. If it is our main goal of life, how do we know when to throw in the towel and give up? Or if that isn't the case at all, are we to stick with it and try our best hoping that things get better? And if they don't we run the risk of waisting our lives in an unhappy situation forever? Life definitely seems to be full of injustice, unfairness, cruelty, and sorrow. Is it really meant to be happy, or are we just supposed to endure til the end no matter what our situation and hope for a better afterlife? Or are we just supposed to find happiness within ourselves and not pay attention to our material mishaps; and if so, how?
