Bad things happen to everyone at some point.....it's just we notice when it happens to a good person.

man....how many times does this question have to be asked...

Bad things happen to all people. Bad things happen to bad people, just as often as good people, it's just that no one cares about it. If a rapist got struck by lightning, lived, had his ears cut off, was raped himself, and then left to die in an abandoned building on the far side of town, no one would care as much as if it had happened to a guy on his way home from work. Bad things happen to everyone.

For the same reason good things happen to bad people.

Because life is random, there is no such thing as fate or pre-ordained plan, bad things happen to ALL people because of coincidence, Murphy's Law, and random acts of nature and people. When the tectonic plates crash into each other and cause human calamities, are they worried about who's good and bad? Don't make me laugh.

To think that good people are protected or somehow immune to the laws of nature is not logical or rational. If you start believing in fate and pre-ordained plans, then you're reverted to superstitious CAVE MAN logic....don't do it. Just kidding, do and believe what you want.

The answer you are looking for is because good people are not that interested in cheating or getting ahead. Bad people dont mind breaking the law and that is why they can "get away" with things.

Like how everyone said, in the long run it is better to be good people. It pays to be good and you dont have to watch your back.

No one knows the answer to that. It is a very unfortunate thing. Good people seem to die young and the bad ones live forever. Totally unfair huh?

Because there is no correlation between being good or bad and having good or bad things befall a person.

If you want to argue that there is a correlation, then that argument would belong in a religious discussion.

It will all balance out, you have to trust in it. SUGGESTION: Read "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" it shows how all lives are one story, and how each person gets good and bad cards.
