~If god created the universe, from whence did he do so and why believers of one diety consider the fables concerning other gods to be superstitious myths when the creation legends all so closely parallel on another?

I think I understand sort of what you are asking. As far as I know, most people who believe a creator (God) created the universe, believe that theory instead of the big bang. I guess some people also probably believe that God made the big bang happen so both caused the existence of the universe.
I am an atheist and I believe that the universe was solely caused by the big bang. I do not know what caused the big bang and what could have because as far as we know there was nothing before the big bang to cause it because it created everything. The same problem faces those who belive that God created everything; who/what created God? No matter which theory you believe, you will still end up at the same dead end. The only difference is, I guess, that those who are religious don't care, or it doesn't matter to them who/what created God as much as it matters to those who believe only in the big bang.

There is Divine Creation, and there is science. Some people believe in both. Some people believe in one or the other. Some people refuse to believe anything at all. I'm not an atheist, but I'll choose science any day.
There is a universe. There was a Big Bang. The point here is that no matter what anyone says or thinks, one cannot ignore the obvious. We can't assign generic answers to our questions like, "The Lord works in mysterious ways". That is not an answer.

"If there is no creator, there is no universe"
This premise has no justification.
Causa Sui is ridiculously incoherent. No God could create himself from nothing without supernatural causes. In which case you've explained nothing. No God could directly cause anything without outside forces. You either have a plenum of being or nothing, and God doesn't explain ANYTHING at that level.
Why pretend to 'reason' with us?
You stipulate something unacceptable and expect a contradiction. Wrong.
There's no necessity that the universe had a beginning. In fact, it's presently incoherent to think otherwise, so why force a dead issue?

The Big Bang theory is clearly scientific as is stated. But the atheists believe there is no supreme being what so ever. Okay then what is the question? Atheists do not claim there is no Universe, unless you are dealing with someone that is a little off his/her axis, (tipsy).

You can call the first cause the Big Bang, or Steve, or Aunt Jemima or even God if you want to. They are all labels for the originating act. Where atheists and followers of superstition diverge is that the latter believe in an interested interventionist first cause, whereas the former do not.

we all know there is a universe and some think theres a creator. but others think the universe is there from something else. the problem with the big bang theory is how did all the stuff get there and compress itself like they say. the problem with all theorys is that how did that get there or how did the creator get there. its one of the things well never know.

I am not certain what the point of this question is but I will venture to guess that one's support of the Big Bang theory should be based on scientific data and not on one's stance about religion.

Atheist believe that there's no God...no Creator...none whatever. I respect them for their opinion...so I'm asking them to allow me...if i may conclude ..."that atheist are born without origin...without a source...because they exist from nothing...for nothing...and nothing at all. So, is there something you can see and say about nothing at all? Let nothingness be always with them. Thanks!
