No, I think that most people are selfish, self serving and greedy, but not stupid or evil. While the end result can be the same, it's a question of motivation.

Almost any parent will tell you that when they first held their newborn child they experienced the pure goodness of the human spirit. We all start out innocent, it is only our experiences in the world that lead us to evil and stupidity. Okay, maybe there is a kernal in everyone - but that is because what we are "fundamentally" is human. And there is no escaping that. So we might as will try and put as much intelligence and goodness in the world as we can.

I don't personally think so, but I could be wrong. I have met many people that are very brilliant and also very personable. I have found that society and our surroundings make us who we are. Although some people just fall away from the pack so to speak and those lost souls seem to go to the dark side of life. I think that is because they feel that bad attention is better than no attention at all. If one is brought up in a loving environment usually they will be more productive in life.

Yes to both.

Roughly half of the voters in the US are stupid for voting Bush to his second term. The first term, I understood. The second term was inexcusable.

As for evil, well, I'll put it this way. Our country's form of government is based on checks and balances, due to the assumption that people will abuse power if given the chance. Communism is based on the assumption that people are inherently good and can be trusted to care for one another.

No, I think that fundamentally most people are good and capable of learning. I think we often try to measure people to an impossible standard and we do not take time to find out how some people best learn, let alone their abilities.

Please, do not judge anyone by some of the people who hang out in Y!A because they have no life.

I think everybody is equally good and evil, proved by the fact you know the difference. Everybody is equally smart and stupid, smart in some things, stupid in others. I doubt if Einstein could change the spark plugs of his car.

Stupid, not necessarily. Evil, unfortunately yes, ever since the fall of man in the Garden. Christ has eradicated the evil from our spirits, but it still lurks in our flesh (the world).

Yah it seems to me that the majority of people are either liers, thiefs, cheaters (at life or anything else) or fake !!!!!
It sucks that we cant all be good people, i guess thats why when you meet someone whos caring, compassionate, honest, loyal and reliable you should treasure them in everyway.
