If something is not made with intelligent design, is it made with unintelligent design?

It's pretty much self-explanatory, I think.

If a human being dies instantly, for example, they will never have known their last meal really was the last one, or that the last time they made love would really be the last time. So, if every time we do something and we do it to the best of our ability, would that be the only response we can make in the face of death?

I feel we will always find a way to make sure the human consciousness survives, so thinking of one day where humans do not exist is kind of hard. If the world is to one day blow up, somehow we will survive, how? idk.

it's like poetry but is different tell me what u think

Time is supposed to have an end (oblivion) and our thinking this is what truly makes it so and in this mind set this end (oblivion) will inevitably happen for we will make no efort to change this and thus create our own end and set it in stone

Assume the man were real, don't you think he would be a great role model?

I know he is socially limited in himself, but he exhibits such compassion, understanding and empathy for people not in his situation. He is also very intelligent without rubbing it in peoples faces (at least not too much) and he has genuine care for his co-workers and fellow human beings. But even when he doesn't know something he exhibits a child like zeal to learn more.

In short, do you think he is someone worth emulating?

My brain is not working tonight. I'm looking for a word. This category seems to be the right place to find it. Would somebody please fill in the following blank?

IF "faith" means accepting something as true without proof (factual evidence, not logical argument),

THEN "_____" means accepting something as true only with proof.

I'm not looking for complex philosophical/theological discussion. I'm also not looking for overly broad words like reason, logic, science, doubt, etc. (God knows any of these could underlie faith!)

I just need a word that describes the condition of acceptance upon receiving proof. You'd think there would be such a word, but I just can't dredge it up right now.

the meaning of that sentence doesn't matter. It could be in any language, I prefer not English. It cannot be poetry or a song lyric, only prose. The sentence has to sound very beautiful!

The Mayans based their prediction of the end of times in 2012 on astronomical events. It appears that they might have known about Sun’s 11-year cycle of magnetic field flips (Solar maximums). The next Solar maximum is due in… 2012!

During a Solar maximum, the Sun emits significantly more radiation than usual in the x-ray and ultraviolet portions of the EM spectrum during a Solar max, & this energy significantly alters the uppermost layers of Earth’s atmosphere.
Scientists believe that Earth is due for her flip. This observation is based on a weakening EM field, which always occurs shortly before the magnetic poles switch.
The EM field protects the Earth from harmful effects of radiation brought on by Solar winds.

What if the Earth’s EM poles were to go through the switch in 2012, making Earth MOST VULNERABLE to radiation…. while also in 2012, the Solar max were to occur, emitting the MOST RADIATION???
Do you see where I’m going with this?
