Both are okay! I do both. :) Talking to myself helps me work out problems and decide what I believe about things. It helps me get to know myself better. And singing, in my opinion, is always okay--what would life be like if we couldn't sing to ourselves? I love singing folk songs, children's songs, Christmas carols--really simple songs to myself, just for fun or to reassure myself when I'm anxious.

There's nothing wrong with either one, lol!
I tend to do a little of both myself=P
However, when talking to oneself, be sure that you do it in a private space away from prying eyes, people, etc or you'll risk others into thinking you're a psycho.

i think of that all and sundry persons communicate with ourselves each and every from time to time, and it incredibly is surely commonplace as a new child to act out distinctive characters. I communicate with myself each and every from time to time, too. it incredibly is a human element. conversing to your self would not equivalent which you're a psychopath, so do no longer hardship. If it incredibly, incredibly, concerns you - which it won't, see a counsellor or a Psychologist and function a communicate approximately it. yet, i does no longer be too traumatic. If it helps you, and it incredibly is not any longer hurting every physique - it incredibly is okay :)

Says who?
I frequently talk things out with myself... or, if I have a difficult concept to put across, I will rehearse various ways to express it, out loud, often in my car on the way to work.
It used to get me some very odd looks, but, these days. people just assume I'm talking on my cellphone, hands-free.
Of course, talking to yourself to the exclusion of others, is bad manners...

theres nothing wrong with either . While singing to yourself is a common way to either express joy, let out nervousness and other such emotions. talking to yourself shows that you either are nervous or you like to go over things with yourself to increase your rate of success

It's OK to talk to yourself unless you value the opinion of others over yours.

Who told you that? Go right ahead and talk to yourself, just do not answer yourself out loud.
